SRS 2018: Accommodation

There is a limited amount of university accommodation available at a flat fee of £108 for a single, en-suite room B&B for all three nights (Monday-Wednesday), i.e. less than £40 per night. The accommodation is in Halifax Hall, a comfortable and attractive ‘boutique hotel’, a twenty- to twenty-five-minute walk to/from the location of the conference (it is also near a direct bus route). We recommend booking these rooms early as the package is available on a first-come, first-served basis (please book when registering and paying for the conference). You can book rooms in Halifax Hall directly, through their website, but these will not be at the discounted conference rate.

Accommodation can also be found via Welcome to Sheffield or Marketing Sheffield at best-available rates. This site can also be used to book discounted train tickets with East Midlands Trains. Note: these tickets will be posted to you by mail. Marketing Sheffield therefore recommends booking at least five days in advance if you are based in the UK, and at least ten days in advance if you are based overseas. We would recommend booking even sooner to ensure that your tickets arrive in time!
