The Society - Events and Support

The Society for Renaissance Studies serves as a leading organisation in the UK and Europe for the study of the Renaissance, organising conferences, publications and promoting the interdisciplinary study of the period. The Society offers a wide range of support to its members, including sponsoring conferences, offering fellowships and a range of support for postgraduate study, and prizes for academic work on the period.  It also works extensively with schools and colleges, and runs a range of events to stimulate interest in the Renaissance and to support teachers.  It offers a forum for advertising forthcoming events, both within Britain and internationally and its website provides a portal to resources in the study of the Renaissance.   The Society arranges regular events and meetings and maintains contacts with other institutions such as The Renaissance Society of America.
