The Reformation: 500 Years On

Event Date:
31 Aug 2017 to 01 Sep 2017

European Reformation Research Group Annual Meeting, University of Liverpool

We are now calling for proposals for 20 minute papers on topics relating to the European Reformations and their impacts.

As always, we are inviting speakers to present on any topic related to the reformations.  Given the year, and the 500-year anniversary of Luther’s Reformation, we are especially interested in papers which consider ‘The Reformation: 500 Years On’: how have Reformation Studies changed over the decades and where will we be going in the future?  ERRG is focused on fostering the work of postgraduate students and early career researchers in a supportive environment, but papers from established researchers are also welcome.

For researchers who have recently begun a very new topic, we are also interested in holding a panel of five-minute introductory papers – if anyone would be interested in taking part do let me know.

Please send your proposals to me (Anna.French@Liverpool.ac.uk) by May 26 2017, including a 100 word abstract and a short biography (including institution affiliation).

The event will include a conference dinner and on-campus accommodation will be available.  Conference costs will be kept to a minimum, in order to support the participation of postgraduate and early career researchers.  Full registration details will be available in June.

Submission date for papers:
26 May 2017
