In 2022 the RSA is returning to Europe to hold our 68th Annual Meeting in Dublin, Ireland on Wednesday, 30 March through Saturday, 2 April. The Convention Centre Dublin will be our headquarters, hosting registration, plenaries, and many of the break-out sessions. Additional break-outs will be held at the Chartered Accountants House, Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane, Spencer Hotel, and cultural institutions in the city center. Mundy, Martha and Donald Robertson Chair in Latin American Art at Tulane University.
Dublin offers numerous world-class research collections of interest to RSA members, including (to name just a few) the Chester Beatty, Marsh’s Library, the National Library of Ireland, and the Royal Irish Academy. Museums such as the National Gallery of Ireland, National Museum of Ireland, Hugh Lane Gallery, and Irish Museum of Modern Art traditionally welcome visitors free of charge. We understand that because of the pandemic, some participants will not be able to travel to Dublin. For those whose names are in the program but who cannot make the trip, you will not be penalized for canceling your participation and your registration fee will be reimbursed. You will then have the opportunity to resubmit your paper or panel for the RSA virtual conference in December 2022 or the next Annual Meeting in San Juan in March 2023. The RSA staff are keeping in close contact with the Irish government and the staff at all of our conference venues, and we will post updates on COVID-19 policies as they become available.
