Open access policy

Bulletin content is posted to restricted members-only areas of this website following print publication. This restricted online content automatically becomes freely and publicly available 24 months after print publication. During that 24 month period there is an embargo on publishing content elsewhere without substantial rewriting. After 24 months we request that authors republishing elsewhere include a link and acknowledgement to their content on the SRS website at the beginning of the material. Please note that material published in Bulletin is not currently required to comply with UKRI policy on open access publication since it is commissioned and subject only to an in-house editorial process.
