Venue and Travel

Liverpool is easily accessible by train from all major cities in the UK; there is a direct train from London which takes a little over two hours. There is a direct train service between Liverpool Lime Street Station and Manchester Airport. Liverpool South Parkway is three miles from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Once in Liverpool, the Merseyrail train network has good links to other parts of the city region.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is only seven miles from the city centre and there are regular bus services from the airport to the city centre. Depending upon traffic, Manchester Airport is a c. 45 minute journey by car or under an hour and a half by train. There are regular direct trains from Manchester Airport to Liverpool Lime Street Station.

Liverpool city region is well connected to the UK motorway network. From the M6 take the M62, M58 or M56 to reach the city centre.

If you are travelling to the Student Life Building by road and are using satellite navigation equipment you can enter the coordinates 53.406630, -2.976958 or the postcode L3 5GE.

There is no parking at the Student Life Building. If you require disabled parking and additional support, please contact the conference organisers. The nearest car park can be found at the bottom of Mount Pleasant (L3 5TB) and operates a pay and display system. Please note, Mount Pleasant car park is open from 7.00am-8.00pm, Monday-Friday and 9.00am-8.00pm Sunday: there is no access to the car park or vehicles left in it outside of these times.
